Ukraine to ship 600,000 tonnes of corn
Ukraine will export around 600,000 tonnes of corn to its major markets, including Belarus, Russia and Turkey.
Industry players said that Turkey needs around 1 million tonnes of corn for its domestic needs.
Turkish Grain Committee, TMO, would buy 500,000 to 600,000 tonnes from Ukraine's exports.
The rest of the volume would be imported by the private companies.
In 2006/07 season, Ukraine's corn exports account for 30 percent of the total corn volume imported by Turkey.
