The majority of the crop is now out of the ground in Mato Grosso and Mato Grosso do Sul, with 98 percent and 97 percent respectively. Mato Grosso is the country's top soy producing state.
Parana, the no. 2 producer, is 87 percent harvested while Rio Grande do Sul, the no. 3 producer, is 40 percent harvested.
On April 3, 69 percent of the Brazilian soy crop had been harvested.
Brazil is the world's no. 2 soy producer behind the US and is expected to harvest a record breaking 60 million tonnes this season, according to AgRural's estimates.
