Nearly 62 percent of Brazil's 2005/06 soy crop harvested
Roughly 62 percent of Brazil's 2005/06 soy crop has been harvested as of Apr 7, said agribusiness consulting firm, AgRural, on Monday (Apr 10).
AgRural put Brazil's total soy crop at 54.7 million tonnes Monday, on some 22.4 million hectares of land.
The states below are at the following stages of harvesting, according to AgRural.

Mato Grosso 89 percent 15.9 million tonnes
M.G. do Sul 82 percent 4.5 million tonnes
Goias 67 percent 6.7 million tonnes
Bahia 12 percent 1.9 million tonnes
Maranhao 27 percent 963,000 tonnes
Others 39 percent 1.8 million tonnes
