Ukrainian PM seeks improvement of country's agricultural machinery business
Ukrainian enterprises are able to meet the needs of the country's agribusiness in agricultural machinery, said Nikolai Azarov, Prime Minister of Ukraine.
According to Azaro, the companies are able to achieve some results through the production of competitive products. However, 80% of the agricultural machinery used by Ukrainian agrarians are imported, he added.
The Prime Minister suggests the creation of opportunities for agrarians to purchase agricultural machinery. This will involve the foundation of the agrarian bank, which will become an active participant on the market and actively contribute to development of agricultural machinery.
The Cabinet of Ministers will not exert complete limitations on the imports of agricultural technical equipment, said Azarov.
