Tunisia purchases soft, durum wheat
The state grains agency of Tunisia bought on Friday (Apr 6) 75,000 tonnes of soft wheat and 25,000 tonnes of durum wheat of optional origin, according to European traders.
The agency paid soft wheat US$287.49, US$287.89 and US$287.29 per tonne cost and freight for shipment in May and June, they added.
Sellers are Granit for the first two positions and Bunge for the third one. The soft wheat was likely to be imported from the Black Sea region and most probably Ukraine.
Tunis paid durum wheat US$391.77 per tonne cost and freight for shipment in May to Vitera.
