China Whey Weekly: Weak US market, slack demand soften China whey prices (week ended Apr 9, 2012)
Traders slashed prices of whey further as import costs continued to fall. Nonetheless, demand showed little improvement while piglet inventories stayed at low levels. Whey prices are unlikely to firm up in the near term due to lacklustre demand and a weak market in the US.
