Rotecna introduces new 1200 heating panels
Rotecna, the specialist in equipment for pig farms, has launched a line of hydraulic heated panels designed to minimising temperature spikes, thereby creating a comfortable micro-climate for farrowing, weaning and wean to finish.
The panels are 1200mm and are available in three different widths of 400mm, 500mm and 600 mm, boasting versatility by allowing various combinations depending on the size of the pens and the farmer's needs.
The new hydraulic panels work as heat accumulators. The water in the heating circuit heats the water inside the panel, thus generating thermal inertia. This inertia maintains a constant temperature on the surface of the panel, thus avoiding temperature peaks. This way, the heat is distributed evenly all over the panel.
The heating panels are robust, easy to install and are compatible with all heating circuits. There is also lower thermal insulation and it features non-slip tread.
