USDA revises March Federal order milk prices
The US Agriculture Department has revised its March Federal order milk prices due to a technicality regarding a survey by the National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) on product prices and when they are announced.
According to Dairyline.com, the March Class 3 price is now US$15.09 per hundredweight, instead of the originally announced US$14.96, up 91 cents from February and US$3.98 above March 2006.
The March Class 4 price is now US$13.71, instead of US$13.58, up a dollar from February, and US$3.03 above a year ago, and the Class 2 price is now US$13.60, instead of US$13.57, up 52 cents from February and US$1.91 above March 2006.
