Methionine prices stabilise in China
Prices of methionine were mostly stable during the week ending April 7.
Methionine market stabilised as distributors were reluctant to reduce prices, which were already lower compared with the same period last year.
Liquid methionine quotes in the general market stayed at RMB21.50-22.50/kg.
Sales of methionine will gradually increase with broiler feed consumption expanding amid higher inventories.
