Cautious buying, lower output costs drag down China choline chloride prices
Prices fell significantly during the period in review.
Demand was slow of late. With the prices of trimethylamine and ethylene oxide weak, choline chloride producers cut prices in a bid to stimulate buying.
Ex-factory prices of 50-percent content choline chloride in Shandong dipped to RMB5,350-5,450/tonne.
In the coming period, feed millers are therefore poised to limit choline chloride purchases.
