China's national grain logistics chain to include Xiangfan of Hubei Province

Hubei Grain Administration has signed a memo with the government of Xiangfan City on their collaboration to develop the grain logistics industry in the central Chinese city.

With assistance from the administration, Xiangfan, a fast-growing city in Hubei Province, will become an important link of the national grain logistics chain.

In four years' time, a state-owned modern central grain deposit will be built in each counties and districts in the city.

Besides offering preferential policies to Xiangfan's grain logistics industry and related companies, the administration will also assist the city in improving its regional grain and oil reserves, as well as setting up a national grain quality testing station in the city.

Being one of the major grain producing provinces in China, Hubei supplies a large amount of grain annually and ensures the state food security.
