New Lysine Plant In Sichuan To Commence Operations Soon

A new lysine plant is about to begin production in Sichuan, China, according to industry insiders.

Currently, samples from a trial production are already out with applications for sales permit already submitted to the relevant authorities, pending approval.

The new lysine production outfit, called Sichuan Bio Limited, is a subsidiary of Sichuan Heng Tai Corporation. Foundation work for its construction began last November.

Production capacity in the first phase is expected to reach 3000 tons per year. After completion of construction in the second phase, total production capacity will hit 10,000 tons per annum.
