Lysine producers stand firm in China
Lysine prices remained unchanged during the week ending April 7.
Lysine producers stood firm as rising corn prices lifted production costs in tandem. Nonetheless, while soymeal prices stayed weak, feed millers withheld lysine procurements, limiting inclusion rates to minimising production costs.
Average transacted price were unchanged at RMB8.50/kg.
Prices of lysine are expected to stay firm.
