Flavorseal reveals new shrink bag for packaging poultry

 

 


US-based packaging systems manufacturer, Flavorseal, has revealed a new shrink bag developed specially for packaging fresh or frozen poultry.

 

The shrink bag features rounded bottom, high shrink rate and glossy appearance that together create superior final packaging for any whole bird or breast pack on the grocery shelf, said the company. It protects poultry during refrigeration and transport, and can be heat sealed or clipped.

 

The product is the latest addition to Flavorseal's range of packaging for meat and cheese products, including Bone Guard, High Barrier and Post Pasteurisation bags.

 

Flavorseal market manager, Ryan Till, said that many of the company's customers have been looking for a high-performance and cost-effective poultry shrink bag.

 

"We believe our new Poultry Shrink Bag is the ideal solution," Till added.

 

Flavorseal specialises in food packaging systems and products for meat and food processing, foodservices, and retail markets.
