Russian farmers to increase grain plantings in 2013

Russia will see increased plantings for specific grain types in 2013.

According to the country's Agriculture Minister, Nikolay Fedorov, local farmers are expected to plant an increase of 92 thousand hectares for grain corn, 40 thousand hectares for pulses, 133 thousand hectares for soy, and 38.9 thousand hectare for spring rapeseed.
