BASF increases price of feed carotenoids

BASF is increasing the sales price for its feed carotenoids such as Lucantin® Pink, Lucantin® Red, Lucantin® Yellow and Lucantin® CX Forte by 15 percent, with immediate effect. The adjustment is necessary to address the increases in raw material costs as well as freight costs.

Feed carotenoids such as Lucantin® Pink, Lucantin® Red, Lucantin® Yellow and Lucantin® CX Forte are principally applied in animal nutrition for coloring egg yolks, broiler skin and fish flesh. They additionally fulfill a number of other important functions in the metabolism.
