China Mengniu Dairy sees profits doubling

China's Mengniu Dairy said its net profits for 2004 shot up by 94 percent to RMB319.4 million, almost double that of 2003.

The Hong Kong listed company recommended a final dividend of 5.9 fen a share. The share rose to HK$5.70 on the Hong Kong stock exchange.
