Pork production in Hawaii down
 

Pork production in Hawaii is currently down 16 percent from 2004, said the Hawaii Agricultural Statistics Service.
 

Commercial pork production in January totalled 298,000 pounds, compared with 353,000 pounds a year ago. Total hog kill of 2,000 head was 400 less but average live weight per head, at 197 pounds remained unchanged.
