Corn prices generally stable in China; prices strengthen at the Yellow/Huai River regions (Apr 7, 2005)

Corn prices in China were mostly stable early this week, with prices at the Yellow / Huai River production regions strengthening in recent days.
In the north-eastern production regions, corn prices continued to climb due to farmers' unwillingness to part with their stocks.
Prices of corn were generally stable at the southern consumption regions as well as the northern and southern Chinese ports.
