Russia recognises the complex of measures for grain exportation

 

 

In accordance with the verdict of the government, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation recognises the complex of measures for feed grains exportation from the intervention fund in the absence of auction trades.

 

224 elevators of the intervention fund will do the unloading operations, announced Elena Skrynnik, Minister of Agriculture, on March 31.

 

According to her, up till now, the current fixed price for feed wheat is at RUB4550/tonne (US$171), and simultaneously the market price is RUB6500/tonne (US$230).

 

She also informed that the ministry has almost finished agreeing on terms with the regions affected by the summer droughts regarding supplies of grains from the intervention fund.

 

Additionally, in accordance with the rules accepted by the government, the ministry formed and distributed volumes of intervention grains across regions, assisted by applications of the regions and criteria.
