Russia suspends poultry imports from West Virginia

Russian food quality watchdog Rosselkhoznadzor Thursday (Apr 5) said it has suspended the import of poultry to Russia from the US state of West Virginia after cases of H5N2 bird flu were reported there.

The temporary ban concerns all poultry products produced in West Virginia after March 31.
