Japan's agriculture ministry buys 170,000 tonnes wheat in tender

 

 

Japan's Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries has bought 170,000 tonnes of wheat in a tender concluded Thursday (Apr 5), an agriculture ministry official said.

 

While 75,000 tonnes of wheat is expected to arrive in Japan sometime in May, the rest of the wheat is scheduled to arrive sometime in June.

 

The details of the wheat shipments that are likely to arrive in May are as follow:
