Press release

Global animal protein producer JBS announces the appointment of André Nogueira as CEO of JBS Australia-the leading producer of beef and lamb in Australia-and Denilson Molina as CFO of JBS USA.

Andre was CFO of JBS in the US during the past four and a half years before he took on the position of CEO of JBS Australia.

Molina, 43, holds a degree in mathematics from Unimep / Brazil and an MBA in management and marketing from PUC / RJ. He joined the group in 2011 having worked for over 18 years for Banco do Brasil, occupying various leadership positions. He will report directly to Don Jackson, CEO of JBS USA.

"Along with Don Jackson and the other executives in the United States, Denilson is an important appointment to our executive team. As a qualified professional, he will continue our financial management focused on adding value and generating results for our businesses there, "said Wesley Batista, Global CEO of JBS SA.

In Australia, two new operating units are created, headed by two Operations Directors (COOs) who will report to Nogueira. Brent Eastwood, who has been with the Company for the past 20 years, is the COO of the Northern Unit, overseeing Queensland and New South Wales. Sam McConnell, a long-time executive of the Company, will be COO of the Southern Unit, overseeing Victoria, King Island, South Australia and Tasmania.

"Andre's appointment as CEO and Sam and Brent as COOs will strengthen our management structure in Australia, providing a more focused management of our North and South operations, including the beef and lamb activities. These three professionals are completely aligned with our culture and management style, always focused on detail in order to continuously improve the performance of our business, "said Wesley Batista.
