Brazil soy export registrations

Brazil's February-March soybean export registrations totalled 11.975 million tonnes, 45.5 percent of the 26.3 million tonnes forecast for exported over the February 2007-January 2008 marketing year, according to figures out Tuesday from the Brazilian Oilseeds Association (Abiove).

Soymeal export registrations totalled 3.748 million tonnes, 29.5 percent of the forecast 12.7 million-tonne total.

In the case of soy oil, registrations were for 663,000 tonnes, 31.6 percent of the 2.1 million tonne forecast total.

In the 2006/07 marketing year, Brazil exported 24.768 million tonnes of soybeans, 12.224 million tonnes of meal and 2.261 million tonnes of oil, according to figures from the association.
