Indian dairy brand leader's sales revenue up 18%
 

 

India's largest dairy brand, Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF), marketer of Amul, has announced an increase of 18% in sales revenue for the 2012-13 financial year.

 

Total sales climbed to INR13,750 crore (US$2.5 billion) compared to INR11,767 crore (US$2.2 billion) a year earlier. Pouched milk accounted for around 50% of its overall sales.
