Russia approves more Vietnamese seafood exporters

Thirteen more Vietnamese establishments have been licensed by Russia to export seafood in the country, the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Processors said Wednesday (April 3).

This brings the total number of Vietnamese seafood exporters for Russia to 38.

Primary exports include frozen tra and basa catfish and tuna fillets as well as frozen and dried fish products.

The Russian Federal Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance Service said it will suspend export licenses that will send five batches of substandard goods during a one-year probationary period.
