Nutreco to get hold of more acquisitions
Dutch feed company Nutreco is eyeing for more takeovers this year with a target investment of 1 billion euro.
The feed company's strong financial position provides an excellent basis to focus on growth by means of acquisitions in animal nutrition and fish feed.
Aside from its self-directed growth, the company is also focusing on mid-sized and larger acquisitions in growth markets and take-over targets to contribute in the consolidation of existing market positions.
Nutreco has already acquired feed establishments in Japan, Mexico, Russia, China, India and the Netherlands in the last two years.
Nutreco established a new feed specialities production facility in Brazil and announced a takeover of BASF's premix business in Poland, Italy, USA, UK, Mexico, Guatemala, China and Indonesia in February this year.
