American Dairy expects higher 1Q revenue
American Dairy Inc, a Beijing-based distributor of milk powder and soybean products in China, on Monday (April 2) said it expects revenue to grow at least 39 percent to $36 million in its first quarter.
The company also expects a net margin during the quarter of at least 14 percent.
American Dairy did not offer full-year 2007 guidance but said advertising and marketing expenses are expected to be 10 percent of total revenue in 2007.
American Dairy operates Feihe Dairy in China, which produces and distributes milk powder and soybean products. It has been in operation since 2001.
Shares fell 13 cents to US$20.37 during aftermarket electronic trading, after closing down 28 cents at US$20.50 on the New York Stock Exchange Arca.
