Demands for China sulphate additives remain slow
Cupric sulphate
Slack hog feed demand curtailed the sales of cupric sulphate, prompting producers to hold down prices while copper market stayed weak.
With feed consumption slow, the demand for cupric sulphate will dwindle further.
Zinc sulphate
Tight supplies of zinc sulphate supported prices to stay stable despite lacklustre demand.
Poor demand together with environmental issues has resulted in low production of crude zinc. Supplies of zinc sulphate are therefore expected to remain limited, hence helping to underpin prices.
Manganese sulphate
Manganese ore prices softened of late, helping to keep its sulphate prices in check.
Prices of manganese sulphate are seen stable to lower in the coming period with demand slack and ingredients costs likely to move lower.
Ferrous sulphate
Sufficient supplies kept prices of ferrous sulphate weak in conjunction with sluggish demand.
Prices of ferrous sulphate are expected to stay soft in the coming period.
