Brazilian dairy company Vigor appoints Mauricio Hasson as CFO
Vigor Alimentos SA, Brazil's fourth-largest maker of yogurt, cheese and margarine has appointed MaurÃcio Hasson as CFO, who will report directly to Vigor CEO Gilberto Xandó.
With over 13 years' experience in investment banking and corporate finance, MaurÃcio worked at Rothschild advising and monitoring important mergers and acquisitions in the past six years. He holds a degree in Industrial Mechanical Engineering from PUC-RJ and an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, specialising in analytical finance and strategy.
Vigor Alimentos SA was a subsidiary of JBS SA, the largest animal protein processing company in the world. JBS plans to spin off Vigor dairy unit and list its shares in Sao Paulo and the process is still under review by the regulatory authorities.
