Randox introduces growth-promoting compounds detection kits

Randox Food Diagnostics releases Enrofloxacin/Ciprofloxacin ELISA kits for the detection of growth-promoting compounds within food producing animals, with limit of detection (LOD) of less than 0.6ppb.
Enrofloxacin and ciprofloxacin are members of the newer fluoroquinolone antibiotics, which can be detected using simple methanol extraction.
Benefits of the kits include: breakable well format, reduced incubation time, no special storage requirement, reagents ready to use apart from wash buffer, no expensive solvents or equipment required, 2-year shelf life and availability of spiking material (1000ng/ml).
