Ukrainian grain exports reach 19.4 million tonnes during 2012/13

 

 

Since the beginning of the 2012/13 marketing year, Ukraine has exported 19.4 million tonnes of grains, a rise of 24.7% compared to 2012, according to the country's Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.

 

Ukraine supplied 6.3 million tonnes of wheat (including 5.4 million tonnes of milling wheat), two million tonnes of barley, and 10.77 million tonnes of corn, to foreign markets.

 

According to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, the ports stocked over one million tonnes of grains, including 170 thousand tonnes of wheat, 80 thousand tonnes of barley, and 827 thousand tonnes of corn.
