Russia's Talina to take loans from Sberbank for pig farm development
A loan for eight years amounting to RUB1.432 billion (US$48.8 million) has been taken by Russia's Talina from the Volga-Vyatsk division of Sberbank to develop its pig farms, the bank said in a statement Friday (Mar 30).
A RUB1.3 billion (US$44.3 million) credit is to be taken by Talina's breeding subsidiary to build a pig farm in Mordovia with a design capacity of 12,000 tonnes of live weight by 2015.
A RUB132 million (US$4.5 million) loan is to be issued to Talina's enterprise Mordovsky Bekon to upgrade two existing farms.
