Russia's Rubezh poultry output at 100,000 tonnes a year in five years
                                        


Russian Rubezh group's poultry output is expected to total 36,000 tonnes in 2009 and to rise to 100,000 tonnes a year within five years plans, Rubezh CEO Vasily Veryuzhsky told reporters Wednesday (April 1), Prime-Tass news agency reports He also said the company would complete a 4 billion rouble (US$118.4 million) upgrade of several poultry farms by the end of 2009.


The farms are located in the Pskov and Novgorod regions, he said.


Rubezh, based in the city of St. Petersburg, focuses on selling, producing and transporting meat.
