CPF adopts Poultry Welfare Specialist Programme
Working in conjunction with the University of Bristol, Thailand's Charoen Pokphand Foods has inaugurated a course on poultry welfare development for CP trainers.
''The Poultry Welfare Specialist Development Program'' gives credence to the company's belief in the significance of animal welfare and help raised the standards of all of its production to achieve ''Kitchen of the World'' status, said CPF Vice President Dr Payungsak S. Tanagul
The 2-year course for 40 participants represents a very important step forward for the company, Tanagul said.
Such a course would benefit not only the company but humanity worldwide and could well lead to the expansion of EU and Thailand trade, he added.
