China's vitamin C export price surges by 40 percent

 

 

China's vitamin C exports were valued at US$330 million, with the average price surging by more than 40 percent, the China Chamber of Commerce for Import & Export of Medicines & Health Products reported.

 

Last year, China exported a total of 70,000 tonnes of vitamin C, with the average monthly price increasing.

 

The country mainly exports vitamin C to the US, Germany and Japan, with these three markets together accounting for 55 percent of the total.
