Pas Reform builds state-of-the-art hatchery in Russia

Dutch hatchery technology company Pas Reform has been contracted to build a new GPS hatchery for Krasnayarugsky Broiler, a subsidiary of Prioskolje - the fastest growing broiler integrator in Russia.

Pas Reform has exclusive Agreements for the supply of hatchery equipment into Prioskolje companies, having already built four turnkey broiler hatcheries for the Group, with a total capacity of around 150 million eggs per year, according to Prioskolje's general director Genaddy Bobritskij.

The Krasnayarugsky GPS hatchery has an annual capacity of 12 million eggs and is expected to produce 3.5 million parents per year.

Expansion plans could double that number. Almost half of that expanded production capability will be dedicated to Krasnayarugsky's mother company.

Krasnayarugsky's first deputy director Mr Tolstoi said Pas Reform's project team helped prepare an air preparation room above the transfer roomsSo that only air at the correct temperature and humidity will be brought into the incubation rooms, eliminating the previous pressure controlled system.

Air flowing into the Krasnayarugsky hatchery is filtered twice, to remove dirt and bacteria, then UV-disinfected in the air preparation room, before being brought to optimum quality for streaming into the incubation rooms.

Tolstol said the company had the opportunity to build the most sophisticated hatchery in the world and through the application of modern technology has future-proofed the project for years to come.
