China methionine prices soften as buyers withhold buying
Prices of methionine moved lower during the week ending March 30.
After securing some supplies over the past week, feed millers withheld buying while methionine was extremely expensive.
During February, China imported 8,479 tonnes of methionine, lower by a whopping 41% compared with January.
Liquid methionine price quotes remained unchanged at RM35/kg.
Methionine market is expected to stay strong.
