China's methionine imports decline in February
China's methionine imports registered 7,121 tonnes in February, 2011, down 30.43% over January levels.
Average import price in February was US$4.24/kg, lower by US$0.14/kg compared with the previous month.
Belgium (4,180 tonnes), Japan (2,261 tonnes) and France (560 tonnes) were the three largest exporters of methionine to China during February.
