Vencomatic opens new operation in Spain

Dutch poultry equipment producer Vencomatic has announced the opening of a new operation in Spain, Vencomatic Iberica s.l.
This new operation is the result of a joint venture with Spanish nest and feed equipment producer GURA Automatizacionas Avicolas s.l.
GURA produces automatic nest boxes and feed equipment for broiler breeders and currently has a production unit in Reus, Tarragogna, which will be renamed to Vencomatic Iberica.
The current general manager of GURA, Manuel Raigel, will stay in charge of the new Vencomatic Iberica operation.
General manager of Vencomatic, Koen Boot stated, ''After having set up a production facility in Brazil, starting a joint venture in China, and opening several branch offices in the US, Canada, the UK, Poland and the Far East, this step fits very well to the strategy of Vencomatic to have a strong local presence worldwide.''
