South Korea Assoc Buys Corn At $204.93-$219.93/Ton, C&F
 
The Korea Corn Processing Industry Association decided to buy 52,500 to 55,000 metric tons of optional-origin corn for human consumption in a tender concluded Wednesday, said a Seoul-based trader who received the tender result.
 
The corn must not contain genetically modified organisms.
 
Glencore is the seller of a shipment that will arrive July 20, with prices ranging from $204.93-$219.93/ton, cost and freight basis, depending on the origin, said the trader.
 
March 24, Kocopia bought 52,500 metric tons of optional-origin corn for human consumption in a tender. Louis Dreyfus was the seller of a shipment that will arrive June 25, with prices ranging from $187-$207/ton, cost and freight basis, depending on the origin.
 
Concordia is the seller of another shipment that will arrive July 5, with prices set at $195.98-$209.68/ton, C&F basis, also depending on the origin.
