India's PEC floats tender to import 12,000 tonnes pulses

India's state-owned PEC Ltd. has issued a tender to import 12,000 tonnes of pulses for delivery in April-May, the company said on its Web site Monday (March 30). The tender closes April 6, it added.

The country of origin should be Myanmar, Tanzania or Malawi, it added.

The company is seeking the quantity on behalf of the federal government for sale in the local market.
