Taiwan's BSPA buys 60,000 tonnes of US soybeans in tender-trader
Taiwan's Breakfast Soybean Procurement Association's (BSPA) Kaohsiung branch bought 60,000 tonnes of US no. 2 soybeans from trading house Louis Dreyfus in a tender concluded Tuesday, a Taipei-based trader said.
BSPA Kaohsiung bought one cargo of soybeans at 187 US cents a bushel over the Chicago Board of Trade July contract, the trader said.
The price is after cost and freight and the cargo is to be shipped May 7-21 from the Pacific Northwest, the trader said.
Louis Dreyfus has guaranteed a minimum protein content of 35 percent for the soybean cargo, the trader said.
