Vietnam's Q1 animal feed imports drop 29% on year
The General Statistics Office said that Vietnam, in the first quarter of this year, is estimated to have spent US$496 million on importing of animal feed and material, which represented an on-year fall of 29%.
In March, the country bought animal feed and materials for its production worth US$190 compared to US$148 million in the previous month.
Last year, Vietnam imported US$2.33 billion of raw materials to make animal feed, increasing 7.2% from 2010.
