Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan in joint venture to build Baku grain terminal
Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan are setting up a joint venture to build a new grain terminal in Baku for the export of Kazakh grain to Iran, according to Kazakhstan's Agriculture Ministry.
The Baku grain terminal will cost about US$3 million to build and will have an annual throughput capacity of 350,000 tonnes.
The budget for the project has been finalized and construction of the project is expected to begin this year.
