China's Yongye International Inc unveils two new crop nutrient products

Yongye International Inc, a crop nutrient company, has introduced two new fulvic acid based crop nutrient products, Zhongbaosheng and Qianggenbao, in China's nutrient market.

The company added the two newly launched products are available in 100ml and 300ml containers and are complementary to its existing Shengmingsu products, breaking into the seed and root nutrient products market in China.

Zhongbaosheng, a liquid product, improves crop seeds' germination, fertiliser utilisation, and resilience during the key initial seed development period. Qianggenbao, a liquid product, promotes root development by improving plant roots' ability to absorb water and fertilisers, and enhances plants' overall resistance against drought, frost, disease and stalk leaning.

In conjunction, the company said it has shipped about US$15 million worth of Zhongbaosheng and Qianggenbao to distributors in the Q1 2012 and expects the sales of both the products to account for 5% of the total sales revenues in 2012.
