USDA: Turkey tenders 15,000 tonnes wheat; 235,000 tonnes corn
The Turkish Grain Board (TMO) has held its tender of 15,000 tonnes of wheat and 235,000 tonnes corn on March 14, according to the Turkey Grain and Feed TMO Tender Results 2007 released by the United States Department of Agriculture.
The bulk of corn will be sourced from Argentina and EU; the remainder will be purchased from Bulgaria, Ukraine and Hungary. On the other hand, wheat tender will be bought from Russia.
The TMO believes the volume will be sufficient for the rest of the marketing year 2007/2008.
