Taiwan BSPA buys 120,000 tonnes Brazilian soy in tender
Taiwan's Breakfast Soybean Procurement Association, or BSPA, bought 120,000 tonnes of Brazil-origin soy from trading houses Bunge and Agrex in a tender concluded on late Friday (Mar 24), an association official said.
The first shipment of 60,000 tonnes will be supplied by Bunge at a premium of US$1.07 a bushel above the Chicago Board of Trade July contract, and is expected to reach Taiwan May 8-22.
The second shipment of 60,000 tonnes will be supplied by Agrex at a premium of US$1.115 cents/bushel above the CBOT July contract and is expected to reach Taiwan May 30-Jun 13.
