Norel names technical and commercial director for additives

Norel, the manufacturer of additives and raw materials for animal nutrition, appointed Mr Juan José Mallo as the new global technical and commercial director for additives on March 12.

An agronomic engineer from the Technical University of Madrid (UPM), Spain, Juan José started in the industry as a researcher in the Netherlannds, where he conducted trials in swine, broiler and hen nutrition.

He joined Norel in 2007 as product manager for probiotics and monogastrics and was subsequently appointed as technical director of Norel in 2010. As technical director, he led more than 40 research projects, developing 33 implementation projects and successfully launching six new commercial concepts.
