China's whey imports in January totalled 18,696.73 tonnes, down 19.8 percent from December 2008, while February's imports increased 3.7 percent on-month to 19,393.87 tonnes.
The US (10,380.82 tonnes), France (3,129.45 tonnes) and Australia (1,089.38 tonnes) were the main whey exporters to China in January.
For February, the main whey exporters to China were the US (8,132.15 tonnes), France (3,566.05 tonnes) and Australia (1,532.8 tonnes).
